Ten years in the web business has taught Walden Pond Design founder Andrew Kaplan much about web design. And much about life.
The company takes its name from Thoreau’s Walden, in which he built a small shack next to a pond in the woods because he wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach. Here he was taught about simplicity and self-reliance. And poetry.
For Andrew, Walden Pond Design is his pond. His teachers are his clients, who bring him their exciting projects and his colleagues who bring knowledge and inspiration in their areas of expertise.
Thoreau wrote, “most men lead lives of quiet desperation”. The punster in Andrew would say this is true of many web sites: desperate attempts to get your attention. Conversely, Andrew and his team create web sites alive with information and energy, portraying the essence and value of your company in a persuasive and compelling manner.
Andrew has assembled the people, processes and tools necessary to help clients shape a digital communications strategy and then execute that strategy with efficiency, impact and effectiveness. At Walden Pond Design, we are passionate about areas of special interest that often make us feel more like poets than programmers. Whether your project is a single web banner or a fully integrated campaign, know that Kaplan and his merry band will attack it with skill and vigor.
