Shannon Houston the Assistant Director for Literacy Volunteers of Greater Hartford was proud of the work and accomplishments of LVGH and wanted to celebrate in a special way. Bill Kelly from Kelly Design, created a gorgeous PDF of their 2013 Annual Report, complete with photos and snippets of text highlighting various milestones in the 40 year history of LVGH.

However, Shannon wanted a more graphical display of their highlights and asked us to create a visual timeline. We used jQuery which is a programming library that allows us to do cool things with images.
